Art Out of the Box
The inaugural Art Out of The Box event is being held at the Long Jetty Street Festival in November 2016. The basic idea behind the initiative is to ecourage local Central Coast artists to take an empty pizza box, cut a 30cm x 30cm square from the least-greasiest part, and create an artwork on it which will then be donated to form a mega-wall gallery at the street festival.
All artworks will be on sale for a flat $20 price tag on the day, with artists also able to nominate a higher 'buy it now' price beforehand. All money raised is going to the charity Take 3, who work to protect oceans and waterways for everyone to enjoy.
As well as creating the master branding, we also developed a social media campaign including an animated 'how-to' video which was featured on Instagram and a simple (but fully responsive) online information portal.
