Specialising in abstract contemporary paintings, Artist Series' mantra is 'bringing fine art to real people'. So the logo needed to reflect this sense of accessibility, while retaining a modern and original aesthetic.
Using contrasting typefaces, we created a logo with 'full length' and 'monogram' versions for different applications, such as window decals, stamps, corporate correspondence, posters and catalogues. Artist Series are also involved in community events such as Art Out of The Box, so the logo needed to be flexible enough to allow maximum impact when seen out of its own branding context.
The monogram logo also acts as a 'window' through which artwork detail shots can be showcased — making the art itself front and centre of the branding programme.
