Their flagship publication ARV Shine presented a mix of ARV’s involvement in the community, a showcase of their properties and services, and a broader look at both issues and opportunities for senior Australians.
The content was designed in an easy-to-read (but not boring) way, with deliberate choices in typefaces, colour combinations and imagery that gave readers a bonafide magazine experience without being patronising. In particular, the absence of generic ‘dynamic senior lifestyle’ stock imagery helped create a truly refreshing magazine, which along with thought-provoking content, was radically different to other offerings in the market.
ARV Shine ran for 13 volumes over 6 years until its final edition earlier this year, following ARV's merger with Anglicare. We look forward to continuing to work with similar organisations on their publications, to meet ever-expanding demand.
