Spruce & Bloom
There's nothing new about property styling. But what makes Mel different is going beyond the idea of simply 'dressing up' a house for sale or lease, and actually creating homes people can love.
She does this by taking on a property as a complete whole — interior styling, landscaping, maintenance, odd jobs, turndown, decluttering and finishing. Not only that, but where possible she simply uses what's already there (or finds ingenious ways to make something from nothing). It's a simple and affordable approach that has already seen her in demand, before she's even officially launched.
Mel's brief to us was to create a brand that would be down-to-earth yet 'timeless', and one which would express the simultaneously dual but discrete nature of 'spruce' and 'bloom'. As well as developing a tagline to give context to the name, we used strong (but warm) colours, complimented by a fresh and earthy secondary palette. The subtly customised logotype is a nod to Mel's no-nonsense approach and her pared-back, elegant sense of style.
To further enhance the brand we designed a suite of icons which visually represent the different service offerings and tie back into the dual nature of 'spruce' and 'bloom'.
