Client: Central Coast Council

As part of 2021 Refugee Week, Central Coast Council presented ‘Home’—a collaborative project sharing powerful stories of refugees, new arrivals and established migrant communities living on the Central Coast. Originally two separate collections of photos and stories resulting from a collaboration between Hilda Bezuidenhout, Mel Harwin and Kevin Duncan, I was asked to bring everything together into a unified 48-page book and mobile public exhibition space—fondly known as the ‘Art Container’—at Memorial Park, The Entrance NSW. The result was a reflection of the diversity but also commonality inherent in our human stories.
